Biological systems utilize free energy and molecular building blocks to grow, to reproduce,

and to maintain dynamic homeostasis.

Living Systems store, retrieve, transmit, and respond to information essential to life processes.

The process of evolution drives the diversity and unity of life.

Biological systems interact, and these systems and their interactions possess complex properties.

The A.P. Exam (May 12th)• Section 1 (90 minutes)

– Part A is 63 multiple-choice questions– Part B is 6 calculation questions

-Worth 50%• Section 2 (90 minutes)

– 2 Long Free Response Questions– 6 Short Free Response Questions

-Worth 50%

Approximately 25% of questions will be lab-based
