A Maximum Credible Accident (MCA) can be characterised as the worstcredibleaccident.Inotherwords:anaccidentinanactivity,resultinginthemaximumconsequencedistancethatisstillbelievedtobepossible.AMCA‐analysisdoesnotincludeaquantificationoftheprobabilityofoccurrenceofthe accident. Another aspect, in which the pessimistic approach of MCAstudies appears, is the atmospheric condition that is used for dispersioncalculations.

All clear signalwill be sounded through continuous siren for 1minute. EvenaftertheemergencyisoveraskeletonstaffoftheRescue/EvacuationTeamwillbeavailableatthesiteofemergencyforatleast30minutestoensurethatthesituationisabsolutelyfreefromdanger.

Aftertheemergencyisover,alltheteamleadersshouldmeetattheEmergencyControl Center and each team leader should submit a report to the IncidentControlleraboutteamperformanceandotherdetailsobserved.
