Located in Brussels, EPHEC (Haute École Économique et Technique) was founded in 1969 by professionals who wanted to offer practical education to junior executives. Entry requirementsYou will normally have a good UK honours degree (or international equivalent) in any discipline; a relevant subject is preferred. Applicants from a different background may be admitted if they have equivalent professional qualifications or proven management experience in a relevant field.

unrelated subject who want to progress in the Business Management field.

What does the course contain?Recognising that most business organisations today face unprecedented change this programme has been devised to create sophisticated management professionals. To achieve this, you will study a range of units covering key topics. By studying this internationally recognised award, you will develop a keen awareness of the most up to date management thinking and practice. You will also develop an appreciation of cutting edge techniques for managing people and thinking strategically.

UnitsYou will study a range of topics relevant to managers in organisations today. These units will be in key areas such as:

• Research Methods

• Strategic Management Practice

• Managing Change

• Integrated Marketing Communications

• Creating & Managing Sustainable Organizations

• Academic Professional Practice

• Principles of Management Practice

• Dissertation

Delivery modes Moodle, student emails and library resources are all essential tools for completion of the course. There will also be two-day workshops to attend, each throughout the academic year. Some students may find that they can work part-time whilst studying, since the programme will delivered over two days most lecturing weeks.

InductionThe start date for the course is September 2016 and there will be a course induction to attend. The induction will provide some background about MMU, introduce the programme structure and content, and explain the key rules and regulations. In addition, you will be introduced to Moodle and the Library resources available to MMU students.

The induction will also consider the various skills involved in delivering assignments in different formats and examine the expectations of MMU in terms of referencing and use of citations etc.

Career prospectsFor those already in business or wishing to embark on a career in business, this course will provide the opportunity to gain an internationally-recognised and career-enhancing qualification and to share experience whilst developing new skills and expertise.
