A word from Carina, one of our graduates "Here is a picture of me at 'work'. I thoroughly enjoyed the distance learning programme offered by SHU. It allowed me the flexibility to work on my Masters degree from home on my own schedule while continuing to work full-time. As an international student from Canada, the online distance learning format also provided me with an opportunity to complete an area of study (Supportive and Palliative Care) not offered locally. I enjoyed the level of autonomy that was I granted to focus on topics that were interesting to me and relevant to my career as a radiation therapist and educator. The distance learning programme also allowed me the opportunity to interact and learn from students from around the world, both within and outside the field of radiation therapy. It was a great experience and one that I would (and have) recommended to others!"
