DIETRO IL SOLE (Behind the Sun) stands at the middle of a documentary and a fiction. It’sabout a forgotten untold story of love and disappearance. It’s a fantasy movie without specialeffects, showing internal and alien worlds. Indeed, it might be considered an anthropologicaldocumentary on life conditions in Siberia, and on the universal harshness of nature. It’s amovie on soul and time. The movie is based upon real facts: the big blast of Tunguska – inSiberia – in 1908 and the mysterious disappearance of an Italian researcher who left Italy in1993 to study the phenomenon.
