The group of companies "Mashspecstroy" is engaged in manufacturing of hi-tech equipment for producing GRE and GRP pipes. Our company the largest manufacturer of such equipment in the CIS, specializes on engineering, producing, sales and all equipment services. The important direction of activity - research and development in such areas as: manufacturing techniques, constructional materials, designs, new connections of pipes, development of new types of binder with the set properties. For ten years of activity by own forces we produced, mounted and started in manufacture 12 automated lines, about 50 units of the various process equipment, more than 500 units of additional equipment. Present offer is for following types of equipment: - for manufacturing high pressure and linear epoxy fiberglass pipes (GRE) diameters from 300 to 600 mm; - for manufacturing water and sewers polyester fiberglass pipes (GRP) diameters from 300 to 2600 mm; - all production lines with spare parts for 2 years; - raw materials for 6 months or more supplied with equipment (additional calculation after agreed production plan for normal world prices).

GRP pipes produced on our equipment according with following standards: API, ASME, MIL, DIN and others depending on customer requirements. GRE and GRP pipes characteristics
GRP pipes are the best decision at transportation of all kinds of water, waste of chemical production, oil and accompanying gases, drains because they combine such advantages as corrosion resistance that is peculiar for plastic pipes, and stability to mechanical influence close to steel.
Diameters range from 300 to 2600 mm. Nominal rigidity SN 2500, 5000, 10000. Pressure class 1, 6, 10, 16, 20, 25, 30 bars. Pipe lenght 3, 6, 12 m.
The main advantages of fiberglass pipes are:
low weight of pipes makes easier stacking and transportation;
opportunity of stacking one diameter in another, that allows additional economy at transportation;
easy lining due to bell-shaped connection;

corrosion stability both an external layer contacting to ground, and internal, contacting to a transported liquid. Coloration and cathodic stations do not demand coverings;
the smooth internal surface interferes with formation of adjournment on walls and allows to use smaller diameters of pipes in comparison with steel;
high stability to mechanical influence owing to strengthening by fiber glass;
containment of pipes and connections;
long working life. Planned working life for GRE and GRP pipes is over 50 years;
maintainability.
Raw materials
The basic raw material used for manufacture of pipes and capacities: polyester resins, epoxy resins, rowing from E-glass, glass mat from C-glass. The additional raw material is applied in the limited quantities to acceleration or delay of processes of polymerization, and also as components for ultra-violet protection. To increase of rigidity such additives as quartz sand are used.
The chief-installation, start of manufacturing and training In technological line price in coordination with the Customer can be included: installation of equipment, start in single and functional tests (2-3 month required). The technical help proceeds 2 months from the moment of acceptance of the equipment. The further technical help will be paid at a rate of 400 EURO/day/specialist.
Installation costs include Customer’s personnel training for working methods on the equipment, manufacturing of agreed quantity of pipes, from materials of the Customer.

Principle of discrete filament winding: The filament winding, a complex process often used for manufacture of closed-surface structures such as pipes operated under pressure and corrosive conditions, high-pressure storage tanks. The filament winding process has important advantages over other composite manufacturing process such as low cost, high production rates and production of multiple parts at the same time. In this process continuous fibers (tapes) are impregnated with a resin and wound onto a rotating mandrel where cure takes place. The resin bath moves parallel to the cylinder axis of rotation, the fibers are deposited under tension and the layers may be wrapped at different angles. Filament winding consists of winding continuous rovings of fiber onto a rotating mandrel in predetermined patterns. The fibers can be of fiberglass, carbon, or other more exotic fibers. After several layers are wound, the component is polymerized in oven and removed from the mandrel.

Brief description of manufacturing process:
Technological operations of product manufacturing on stages:
1. Preparation. 2. Winding. 3. Polymerization.
4. Finishing processing. 5. Control. 6. Transport.
A. At a preparatory stage the following operations are carried out: preparation of bonding agent; preparation of sand; if necessary rowing drying; preparation of glass filler (if exists in wall structure).
B. Winding is carried out on the machine tool by a method of the discrete winding of impregnated rowing, on mandrels DN 700 to 2400 mm, mandrels have a construction that allows to change length of a circle (after hot-setting mandrel is compressed, the pipe can be removed) winding is carried out on a cycle by winding of rowing with bonding agent injection and in additional cut rowing render, sand drawing on internal layers of a product is stipulated. Winding is carried out with polyester binding.
C. The stage of polymerization begins during winding and ends with full hot-setting by electric heaters which are delivered with the complete set of the equipment.
D. After polymerization on a separate stripper mandrel compression and extraction are proceeded. After removal mandrel is prepared for the following cycle: it is decompressed, dividing layer is rendered.
E. Ends of pipes’ processing is carried out on special cut off machine with diamond saw cutting head.
F. A control stage. The degree of polymerization, a percentage of bonding agent and rowing is supervised in separate laboratory. External survey controls absence of defects of the fiberglass, absence of swellings, bubbles, dimnesses from overheating, rigidity. (G and H Optional, needs additional equipment for manufacturing fiberglass tanks, can be added later if needed)

G. On a separate site manufacturing flat and elliptical bottoms is carrying out by a method of glass material formation. Manufacturing of the bottoms is proceeded by laying out glass material with bonding agent on the special flat or elliptic forms which are delivered in the complete set. This is made manually, binding to be rendered by pallet, impregnation of glass material and cut rowing drawing is stipulated with the help of the special device. A scrap of edges is made on a marking by detachable circle. Further the bottom is glued, added to a pipe and glued by wet squares, tapes of glass material. Thickness of a fastening is stipulated by the drawing.
H. Further on a marking by metalwork way necessary hatches, apertures for branch pipes etc are cut out. Then an insert of branch pipes and editing of the necessary equipment inside of this product is made.
