Founded in 1843, it originally consisted of 11 acres on the corner of Morrell St. and Greenwood Ave. 14 acres added in 1863. Historical Data 1864 Morrell St. was moved to the north, and the space that was originally occupied by the street was re- allocated as a burial ground for soldiers. Historical Data 1917 fire destroyed all interment records Any records we have now are recreated from information on the headstones All outside fence was donated by the Reynolds family Greenwood Wall was built 1873 The wall was rebuilt in 1980 using all original stones Mt.
