intensive goji plantations
Adrian Asanica, Valerica Tudor, Alexandru Iacob, Andrei Tudor, Livia Perojuc, Violeta Zolotoi
The innovation focuses on shaping flattened crowns for goji (Lycium barbarum L. and/or Lycium chinense Mill.)
into multi-leader system which allow more plants/unit area and the achievement of a higher quality and yield
through a good light exposure. The increase of plant efficiency is accompanied by all technological interventions
in the orchard (soil maintenance, pruning, fertilization, irrigation, treatments and harvest). The fruits are large,
well-coloured, uniform in size and with high dry matter content.
