The five-day CME event will bring together up-to-date information regarding the diagnosis and treatment of the oncologic patient, as given from the perspectives of diagnostic and interventional radiologists, oncologic surgeons, and a radiation oncologist. By integrating these disciplines, we hope to broaden our participants’ understanding of the primary cancers affecting various organ systems, their pathology, the imaging manifestations, and the treatment options. The event is designed to provide participants with state-of-the-art information given by national leaders and experts in their fields. Each morning and afternoon a different organ system and its primary oncologic issues will be discussed followed by a panel discussion between our experts and the audience. On Wednesday evening, there will be an awards ceremony and reception that is open to all conference participants and their families. A continental breakfast will be provided each morning for registrants. The conference dates and times have been chosen to enable you to bring your family to San Diego at the perfect time to enjoy the spring weather, and the local attractions. Dear Colleagues:

On behalf of the American Osteopathic College of Radiology, I would like to invite you to join us for a unique and innovative program, the 2014 Annual Convention, “Multidisciplinary Approach to Oncology.” Our conference will be held at the Omni San Diego Hotel, a AAA four-diamond award hotel, located in the heart of the historic Gaslamp Quarter, close to the city’s top sites and attractions.

The Gaslamp Quarter is world famous for its atmosphere, its variety of activities and its sumptuous eating establishments. Explore Balboa Park, take a harbor cruise or catch a Padres baseball game at PETCO Park Stadium, connected to the hotel via a pedestrian skywalk.

It is my sincere hope that you will be able to attend this innovative program and that your participation will ultimately contribute to a greater understanding of the diagnosis and care of the oncologic patient.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
