Nariman PointSpeSSo Gourmet Kitchen is the newly opened vegetarian multi-cuisine restaurant located at nariman point. it has been established by the management of Status restaurant located next door. paSteLitoS is nariman point’s newest cupcake joint that set up shop at cr2 mall.

Colaba middle eastern eatery, Sufra by moshe’s established their second outlet near cusrow Baug at colaba. mexican cuisine specialist, Sancho’S launched their second outpost on the ground floor of hotel apollo in colaba. Sari and lehenga label, trupSeL has opened a store, their first at Arthur Bunder Road. apoLLo cLinicS that have a large network of over 90 clinics pan-india established their presence at apollo Bandar. footwear and accessories maker, cLaude Lorrain established their flagship store at Shahid Bhagat Singh road. Churchgate Coffee chain Mocha’s flagship store was replaced with the second outpost of all day restaurant, SaLt Water GriLL at churchgate.

Fort namha SeKhri, a newly launched multi-designer boutique at fort showcases collections of budding and talented designers. Serving continental/ european cuisine is toWn haLL café, the new bar and grill located at murzban road. Spread over 5,000 sq ft is the tanK, a discounted store located at Ballard estate that exclusively

houses various reliance brands such as Quiksilver, Superdry, Steve madden, etc. Blending in seamlessly with the locality’s charm and art history is mamaGoto, which serves a pan-asian treat to its customers at Kala Ghoda. Located in the artistic hub of Kala Ghoda is houSe of taLeS, a warehouse that has been converted into the area’s first contemporary event space that can be designed to suit the occasion. Widening its product range, design store oBataimu has moved to a bigger 600 sq ft space at Kala Ghoda. the 40 seater nico BomBay is a newly launched bar and bistro in this quaint neighbourhood.

Kemps CornerZanaaya couture by designer Shouger merchant doshi which offers a range of premium ethnic wear established its outlet at Kemps corner. cottonS, the brand by Kachnaar crafts pvt. Ltd. has set up its shop in the same area. dev’S momoS, a street wagon that sells steaming hot momos was also set up in the same vicinity.

Napean Sea RoadOffering freshly popped, flavoured popcorn is the newly opened store of WoW popcorn at napean Sea road. tart is the latest bakery and café on the same road. designer label KriShna mehta expanded its presence in mumbai with a store in this area.

WorliGerman upholstery brand WaLter KnoLL along with d&m recently launched their first store in India. This 3,200 sq ft store is located at Worli.

Mahalaxminew pan-asian eatery, auriGa opened doors to its patrons at mahalaxmi. mexican and italian eatery, picante riStorante was inaugurated at Bhulabai desai road. Located on the second floor of Akruti Sky Park building is the py Bar and BiStro that offers a visual treat with its decorative neon coloured walls and sketches of the city.

Lower Parelvodafone inaugurated the first ‘Innovative Design’ retail concept at its corporate premises in Lower parel. this store offers a live and engaging retail experience of vodafone’s wide range of products and services. fat Box which serves wholesome gourmet food in a box set up its eatery on the main road inside raghuvanshi mills. premier dead Sea, the international cosmetics brand that uses natural elements of the dead Sea also established its store at raghuvanshi mills. parsi takeaway and delivery joint, BaWaJi café was inaugurated at Senapati Bapat Marg. Located on the 37th floor of the Palladium Hotel is the newly launched nightclub, exo. palladium hotel’s 120-seater oriental restaurant, meKonG and bar, Li Bai are also located on the same floor. On the 38th floor of the same hotel is the rooftop lounge and bar, aSiLo. Lower parel’s latest on-the-go eatery, aSia on my pLate offers value for money meals to shoppers and working professionals in the area. the other newly launched outlets include restaurant/lounge tiLt aLL day and BurGS located at Kamala mills.

Elphinstone Roadthe LaZy doG is the newly opened bar at elphinstone road which has set up its outposts at one indiabulls center and indiabulls finance center respectively. among the new breed of f&B outlets in the area is d’BeLL café & LounGe which is located at one indiabulls center.

Other stores to have opened in South Mumbai include:Brijwasi Sweets’ restaurant format maKhan serves rajasthani and Gujarati food at its first newly launched eatery at Kalbadevi.home and lifestyle store SpLendour was inaugurated at hughes road. the area also witnessed the opening of multi-designer ethnic wear store, hueS.Leading pizza delivery chain, dominoS branched out to open another outlet at marine Lines.

andheri Veera Desai Road, Andheri (W)rainforest on veera desai road was replaced by uK based pizza giant, piZZa expreSS. Marketing itself as India’s first shot bar is he Said She Said that opened on the same road. this stretch also saw the replacement of aromas of china by deGustibus Group’s neeL & tote BanQuet.

Link Road, Andheri (W)music themed restaurant and bar, hard rocK café opened its second outlet in the city near yashraj Studios. popular watering hole, pop tateS opened another outpost opposite Infiniti Mall. Boveda, a newly launched pub also opened in the vicinity.

Four Bungalows, Andheri (W)Spread across 20,000 sq ft is Levo, Andheri’s new fine dining european restaurant and banquet hall. four Bungalows also witnessed the opening of a new format by yellow Banana food company- o15’S café.

verSovaeminent South african pizza chain, deBonairS piZZa launched its first restaurant at Juhu-Versova Link Road. KotaK mahindra BanK branched out at J p road in versova. a new entrant in the healthy fast food industry, freSh heaLthy café opened its outlet on the same stretch.

Juhuhotel Bawa continental witnessed the opening of StarBucKS coffee on the ground floor. A new pub, copa was launched opposite Juhu Gymkhana. the Spare Kitchen replaced the famous Italian restaurant, ‘Don Giovanni’ on Juhu Tara Road. casual dining restaurant, Grain & BaGeL relocated to Juhu’s Gulmohar road. Sun n Sand hotel’s restaurant, the Sunset room was replaced by continental restaurant, haochi.

Bandra 16th Road, Bandra (W)new continental restaurant, eddieS BiStro has opened in Bandra in place of dessert parlour dolcemente italia on 16th road.

Linking Road, Bandra (W)Linking road at Bandra saw the opening of popular ethnic brands like Seven eaSt and JaShn. andhra BanK expanded in the vicinity with its new branch opposite Khar telephone exchange.

Waterfield Road, Bandra (W)Socialite Queenie Singh inaugurated her jewelry store, JeWeLS By Queenie opposite China Gate at Waterfield Road.


Turner Road, Bandra (W)turner road seemed to be a new favourite among designers this season.creating a lot of stir is Bandra 190, a six storey luxury boutique by Sussanne roshan, Seema Khan and maheep Kapoor that was launched in december. designer brand, LaBeL ritu Kumar opened its store on the same stretch opposite moti mahal restaurant. Located around the corner from tavaa restaurant at Bandra is the split-level home store of freedom tree that stocks furniture, crockery and carpets.

Carter Road, Bandra (W)dumpLinG KinG serves a range of dumplings from its new little outlet located at carter road. WoW popcorn offers mouthwatering flavours of freshly popped popcorn at its outlet on carter road. corniche, the multi-cuisine restaurant located on the same road has recently converted its basement into a pub called apreS.

Hill Road, Bandra (W)upStairS is the new furniture store and gallery for events, open-mics and performances located at hill road. KuLture Shop is a new design studio and showroom located at hill road that aims to create a platform for graphic artists to both showcase and sell their work.

Bandra Reclamation, Bandra (W)Bunglow 9 recently launched a café within its premises called café B9.Set in the large, open-air courtyard outside Bunglow 9’s villa;

café B9 offers a range of soups, sandwiches, salads and much more. deL freSco cantina is the novel entrant serving spicy mexican cuisine located next to popular eatery candies at Bandra reclamation. home store, SideWaLKS of the WorLd is a newly launched three storey glass fronted shop located on chapel road. malabar hill based patisserie, country of oriGin ventured into Bandra with a new store located at chapel road. coffee chains, StarBucKS coffee and BariSta LavaZZa expanded their presence in the city with outlets on the same road.

Pali Naka, Bandra (W)pali naka at Bandra has got yet another all-day café, eat that is a new format by umbrella hospitality. Located in the same area is KarLitoS, the new snack bar offering a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian halal snacks. frozen yogurt retailer, pinKBerry which is brought to india by JSm corporation pvt. Ltd. established its first outlet in Mumbai next to Costa Coffee at Pali Naka.

Bandstand, Bandra (W)maritime By San LorenZo is the latest in a line of diners from London that have opened branches in mumbai. Located at Bandra’s Bandstand area, this upmarket restaurant is the format’s first outlet to be located outside London.

Bandra Kurla Complexcasual dining dim sum chain, pinG ponG which is a favourite with Indians visiting London inaugurated its 3,000 sq ft flagship restaurant at first international financial centre (fifc) in Bandra

Chimbai Road, BandraahaKZai, designer label by alvira Khan and ashley rebello was launched at Bandra’s chimbai road. apart from their own designs, the boutique also houses creations from designers all over india.

Dr. Ambedkar Road, Bandrathe BiG door, a unique furniture and jewelry store opened next to pizza metro pizza on dr. ambedkar road. replacing yellow tree café on the same road is the third outlet of impresario Group’s SmoKe houSe deLi. dessert joint, tart relocated from hill road to a new outlet off dr. ambedkar road.

St. Paul Road, Bandraa new branch of 6th Street yoGurt has opened at St. paul road, bringing the chain’s total to four outposts. SantacruZLinking Road, Santacruz (W)established by the owners of two one two Bar & Grill and café

Khar Linking Road, Khar (W)Leading contemporary footwear retailer, cLarKS opened a store below mcdonalds on Linking road. uSa based premium footwear brand, JohnSton & murphy launched its first store in the indian market adjacent to the clarks store at Linking road. Sportswear brand puma relocated itself on the same road to a smaller store spreading over 1,600 sq ft. from a small collection of work boots to an expensive line of men’s and women’s shoes, cat footWear further expanded its presence in the indian market with a new store on Linking road. SamSunG Smartphone café opened its new outpost along the same stretch. indian footwear brand, mochi expanded its retail footprint with a new store on Linking road. Located near Khatwari durbar is Khar’s new restaurant, amriStSari tadKa serving north indian cuisine.

Other stores to have opened in Khar include:diffusion couture label, maniSh maLhotra established its flagship store on Khar’s 14th road. mandira Bedi launched her flagship designer store on the corner of 13th and 18th road at Khar. the store stocks a varied range of traditional saris with a modern twist.

British luxury clothing retailer, thomaS pinK established its first store in Mumbai on the second floor of this mall. Skyzone - pepe JeanS inaugurated its store on the ground floor. This store is the brand’s first store in India based on its new global store design concept. BySi, Singapore’s leading women’s fashion wear retailer established its store on the same floor. Men’s ethnic wear retailer, manyavar set up shop on the first floor at Skyzone.
