• A temporary in-zone Airstrip in Phase I
• Dedicated Airport within the Zone planned to form part of Phase II
• Enhancement of existing Kandla Airport a possible temporary solution
– Current airstrip of 5000 ft. can handle aircrafts with cargo load of 20T
– Airstrip extendable to 6000 ft
– Night landing can be made possible by providing additional lighting facility
– Kandla SEZ & Mundra SEZ may sign a MOU to develop the Kandla
Airport in Public-Private Partnership
