MEPS Patch

Our gardening group would like to extend a few

thankyous for the support received after the recent

flood effected our school grounds and MEPS’s

Patch.

Thank you to Colin Sorenson for making life so

much easier to re establish our little patch. Without

his constant volunteer skills we would not be where

we are today.

We also extend a huge thank you to Julie and

Bruce Murray from Kingscliff for donating $200 to

help get us back on track.

Deb & Jerome for a brand new wheelbarrow and

even a gentleman from Victoria who sent us some

beautiful fresh seed to begin again.

Zdanka for being a helpful happy volunteer and

always sharing this joy with our students.

Basal our General Assistant, always there to help in

any way, thank you.

We also thank the P&C for their support

throughout the years, helping us to purchase

gloves, pots, plants, tools & equipment, mixes,

seeds etc. all vital components.

Our patch allows a space for students to integrate

with each other and meet new friends, not to

mention the empowering of gardening and

propagating skills.

We extend a warm welcome to all parents to join

us for our Tuesday morning session with our students

from 8.30am.

Hopefully no more weather events will prevent our

quarterly plant sale scheduled for Tuesday 27th

June.

Happy Gardening.
