    Muscle Attachments - MSK 2013

    There will be no examination questions in which a pin is placed in a muscle and thequestion asks for that muscles attachment(s). The only exam questions related to muscleattachments will involve bony protuberances, notches, grooves, ridges or fossae, either directlyon bony specimens or on radiographs. For the sake of study time efficiency and avoidingambiguities, the following table summarizes what you should focus on regarding muscleattachments or soft tissue relationships to bony structures. Otherwise, you should focus on theposition of each muscle relative to the joint(s) it crosses as an approach to better understandingmuscle actions
