• In the Factory Museum you can discover the history of the textile factory built by IsraelPoznański in the nineteenth-century industrial city of Łódź.

 

Visiting the museum is a journey into the factory’s moments of past glory, when millions of metres of quality textiles were being produced.Apart from exploring the creation and development of the factory itself, the exhibitions show the history of Pozanski’s rise to success, the technological process of producing cloth, and the everyday lives and of its employees.

On 5th January together with our history teacher students went to Museum of Factory. There were many interesting exhibits like old clock from the entrance factory gate,

• map of old factory buildings, and many other things.

We were really attracted by the cotton machine. The guide started it and we could see how it worked and how the real cotton is weaved. The machine made a lot of noise and we understood why people who used to work at this machine often became deaf.

 Today, these historical buildings, restored and renovated, make up the commercial complex of Manufaktura.
