Listen to one of your parent’s favorite songs. Ask them to

explain why it’s their favorite.

of the song.

As a family, choose one song. Create a cup routine to perform as you listen.

While listening to a song on the radio, show three

different ways to keep the beat.

Use an App like GarageBand to sample a sound. Create a melody using your sampled

sound.

Choose a theme and create a playlist of songs. Share the playlist with someone and

explain why you selected each song.

Host a family variety show. Everyone should sing a song, play an instrument, tell jokes

or just have fun!

Create an 8 beat body percussion pattern. Find a

song or piece to perform along with.

Listen to a piece of music that features your favorite

instrument.
