Sewing Machine Orchestra The Shirt Factory, Patrick Street 1pm & 7pm

Community Hi-Fi Reggae Stage Mute Meadow 2pm - 9pm

Quebec composer Martin Messier is a fan of old sewing machines – but not in the way you might think. He resuscitates old Singers put to sleep years ago in order to release, in some magical ways, the luminous and sonorous presence of the past. A complex and leftfield arrangement, the old machines are brought to life in a way never thought imaginable to create a sound like no other.

Community Hi-Fi is a Dublin-based sound system founded when, after many years of attending reggae sound systems dances in the UK and Ireland, a group of friends decided to assemble their own sound. Committed to playing roots reggae in a King David style, expect to hear uplifting music and vibes that everyone can enjoy.
