These two fonts work well as they look like the Saturdays logo which could relate to neon signs. If they were in bright colours, they would look like the signs outside night clubs, connoting the fame and party lifestyle of pop stars.

This is a font type that is similar to some girl bands. It is also similar to the cheer leading teams, which could connote the fact this is a girl group and it would stand out.

I think this font would work well for out band as it would stand out and fits in well with the pop / girl band genre. Some famous girl band use underlining in their name.

For our song, we have chosen a slower, love song by Girlicious. As a group, we have decided a neutral, pastel colour would best suit the mood and the type of feel we are after. For this reason, I feel that numbers 15, 19, 20, 35 & 36 would be appropriate for fitting in with the feel of the song. However, most pop girl band use brighter colours for their name. I feel we should also use some bright colours to make our band stand out from the crowd. Colours such as 3, 5, 6, 32, 42 & 46 would help us to stand out. The Saturdays use bright both the neutral colours and the 'neon' like colours in their name. I have included some examples below:

These are two screen shots of The Saturdays' website. The top one is the most recent one. It shows a neutral colour scheme of beiges, white and greys. This is the idea that we have been thinking of using for out chosen track. This is different from a lot of pop artists website as they are usually bright and bold to be different. The bottom picture shows their website from a few weeks ago. This shows how they use neon colours, (blue, orange, red, purple and green) to make their website stand out and look aesthetically pleasing. This fits in with the typical girl pop band colour schemes.
