Rise To Fame

Bedroom antics have had an incredibly successful year with the release of there new album “little monkey with the bass” and in addition have landed there fi rst headline tour this is an amazing achievement for an unsigned band we caught up with bedrrom antics here is how it went.

So bedroom antics it fair to say that things are really taking off for you this year with the release of your new album “lit-tle monkey with the bass” and a headline tour coming up this July how does it feel ?

Nick: it feels brilliant especially with all the effort everyone’s put into the band, I mean we never thought wed make it here.

Rich: I still don’t believe this is real I wake everyday and pinch myself just to make sure

Im not dreaming.

Your new album “little monkey with the bass” is a huge hit right now was that the intention.

Tom: it was never are intention to make a huge hit, we just got together and wrote music that we believed in an loved , and in the end of the

day that’s all you can do.

As im sure people know you were a four piece band but your bassist left just after the tour with blink why was that?

It came to a shock to all of us and there is no hard feelings in the departure of matt he just decided that life on the road wasn’t for him and we respect his decision.

So what is next for bedroom antics how are you going to top this?Rich: well its fair to say its going to be hard to top last year, but we have a few songs on the drawing board for are follow up album.

I have to ask there’s been a rumour posted on varies blogs saying that the next album will be an acoustic one is this true? Nick: Yes it is indeed true, we all decided that it would be a good idea I personally have always been a great fan of acoustic music and I have always wanted to leave my mark on the genre.

Do you not think this is a bit of a risk following the success of your heavy rock album how do you think fans will react to this?

Tom: we all now this is going to be a huge risk but we as a band don’t want to produce the same music over and over again its pointless its

just not us.

Rich: there’s always going to be people who don’t like what we do. We just have to make the music were enjoying and hope people listen

So what has been the highlight of the amazing year you guys have had so far?

Tom: ( laughs) that’s a tough question, if I had to pick one I would say playing along side blink 182 this July it was just insane, with been such massive fans of there music since we were about fi fteen, there the reason I personally got into music and going from watching them to performing with them it was just a dream come true.

Nick: for me it was announcing are fi rst head-line tour it just felt like wed fi nally made it and we can start to enjoy it.

Rich: I would have to say that a fi rst sighing was my favourite moment just to see all the kids that had come to see us lot to see all the support are band has already I mean we wouldn’t be any were without are fans I know it sounds cliché but its true.

so it looks like youll be seing alot more of beedroom antics in the following months.
