single Stay strong, which shows off the rest of the albums potential. It’s metalcore but not as you know it and as Xara says ‘It’s a lot of noise with music in there some-where’. It’s a lot heavier than her older tracks with a strong bass and guitars in drop D. (perfect for your angry days).

British, loud and witty. Xara Griffiths is taking the music world by storm a with the release of her second album The Devil Calls. In the past month the unconventional music of the soloist has conquered the states and is now tackling our shores. Origionally from San franscico, Xara started out making music with her band ‘The Boy will Drown’. They gained some recogni-tion withing the state but didn’t get much further. The band split and Xara decided to persue her solo career. Her earlier stuff is a similar style to her old band but where they failed she smashed it .“I remeber my parents telling me to focus on what I loved, and not to let the split phase me’ says Xara“ I just didn’t care about anything but the music”. A mix between The Devil Wears Prada, Liferuiner and Enter Shikari, her second album The Devil Calls, is full of tracks that have us falling in love with metal again. It features her single Stay strong, which shows off

After the realease, Xara Griffiths an-nouced her tour in the spring, where she’ll spread the word of her new energetic sound. +
