General style of music video:(Railton & Watson)The general style of the music video will have a basic structure of a concept video, as well as a possible narrative video (Lynch). The video will be within the conventions set by Goodwin, with it sticking to the iconography of indie music videos, as well as there being a slight relationship between the lyrics and the visuals and voyeurism between the actress and camera. In terms of Jon Gow's central genres, the music video will be in the genres of an anti-performance piece and possibly the enhanced performance.

Briefly describe what will happen in your music video, highlighting camera angles and effects used:The idea for my music video, is to film a couple, possibly on a beach/day out, but to give the viewer more of an idea of their relationship, rather than just looking into a day of their life. I plan mainly to have shots of the female, rather than the male, and to avoid filming the man's face; I want to concentrate on the emotions of the girl, by using many close ups of her face, and intimacy of their two bodies - shots of hands/fingers/arms - by using medium shots. The idea is for it to be filmed as if from a POV shot, as though the man is behind the camera. The whole thing being filmed by stedicam (with possible track movements).

I also have an idea to have some scenes/shots in a home-movie style, by using Premiere editing after filming. I will probably include continuity editing, and cross cutting for the majority. However, I may also use parallel editing and visual effects.

How have your test shoots gone? What worked? What will you need to change? Do you need to shoot more test footage?

What resources will you need?Props, styling, location, recording and lighting equipment:The styling of the actresses/actors will be a minimal/simple look; I hope to capture a normal, 'everyday' look. The locations I have in mind is a particular beach/seaside town, where in which the movie Never Let Me Go was filmed, with a beautiful pier. However, I will need to research more, because I need to consider travel. If I am unable to travel there, I will have to find another location. I plan on using no extra recording or lighting equipment, because I hope to use a day with nice, natural light. I plan on using no, or very little props.

Who will you need to organise for your music video shoot? (Are they reliable?)Currently, I have in mind a friend of mine and her boyfriend, however, as she works, I need to either find out when they both have days off etc. Otherwise, I will have to look for someone else.

When do you plan to shoot your music video?
