History Museum

• History Museum begins in 1889, when Bessarabian Zemstvo Agricultural and Industrial Exhibition held that the basis and foundation of museum institutions.

• It is the oldest museum in Moldova. Founded as the Agricultural Museum during its existence has gradually expanded the scope, creating collections that reflect the natural history, nature contemporary evolution of human society and traditional culture in Bessarabia and later the Republic of Moldova.

• The permanent exhibition entitled "Nature. The Man. Culture "with an area of 2000 m2 correlation reveals the evolution of man and nature at different stages of social development, development of the organic world, natural resource dynamics, creative synthesis of man and nature, ecological situation in Moldova and ways to improve them.

• Within the museum is a botanical garden, which meets the most widespread species of plants, trees and Arbus from Moldova. In the Botanical Garden has organized a vivarium with permanent exhibitions of rare birds, exotic and decorative, reptiles and fish.

• In 2005 the museum was reorganized in the institution of science and innovation. Researchers have developed numerous scientific institution, of which a large part were published in the Scientific Bulletin -publicaţie regular museum appears 1926, with the 2005 Review status of Ethnography, Natural Sciences and Museology. The museum has a valuable scientific library, which holds over 41,500 volumes including an important collection of rare books.

• Since 2006 the Museum has become specialized institution in ASM. In 2009 was accredited in profile "ethnographic and natural heritage"
