Capital Cost

MV Technologies’ H2SPlus Dry Scrubbers are

competitively priced with other “iron sponge” type

scrubbers. MV Technologies advantages come

from substantially lower cost of ownership.

Operator Attention

MV Technologies’ H2SPlus Dry Scrubbers are

truly “Set & Forget” H2S solutions. Very little

operator attention is required. After

commissioning, operators typically check pH

once per week.

Operating Cost

• MV Technologies’ proprietary BAM (BioActivated Media)

can capture more than twice as much H2S per pound

compared to conventional iron oxide based media (about

0.29 vs 0.12 lbs H2S/lb of media).

• The replacement cost for MV media is about half the

price of conventional “iron sponge” media.

Thus, the operating cost for MV Technologies dry scrubbers is

typically one-quarter of the cost of conventional “iron

sponge” scrubbers.

Media Replacement

MV Technologies provides all its installations

with the MVNet™ media removal system.

This greatly simplifies and accelerates the

chore of replacing spent media.

Spent Media Disposal

Spent media is nonhazardous (passes all

TCLP) and may be land-applied or disposed in

any municipal landfill.
