I. Product DescriptionThe MV101 is a compact, modular enclosure engineered for use in automotive, vehicular, and harsh environments. It is designed to accommodate a wide variety of Mini-ITX mainboards and power supply options. The enclosure is constructed

. The assembled system has been tested for use with processors that have a thermal design power (TDP) of 35 watts, operating at full power.

The kit includes chassis mounting brackets, vibration isolation mount kit for dual hard drives, P4/P8 panel mount selection kit for power, and a mount kit for DCDC-USB power supplies.

Additional case features include security locking tabs that also work well to secure wire harnesses.

Step 3: Secure the Mini-ITX mainboard with four of the silver PCB screws (screw A).

Step 4: Insert rubber vibration isolation mounts (E) into hard drive tray. Use shoulder screws (D) to secure hard drive to the

must bend upwards. Note that bracket will be permanently secured once top cover screws are installed.

III. Basic Chassis AssemblyStep 1: Remove the top from the enclosure and begin assembly process with bottom chassis.

Step 2: Insert I/O shield in rear opening. Press the top and bottom edges of I/O shield until it snaps into place.

V. DCDC-USB Power Supply MountingThe standard power opening on the rear of the enclosure is for a panel mount P8 connector. A P4 panel mount power cable can be used by attaching the converter plate included in the power supply accessory kit. This adapter will make the chassis hole smaller to accommodate the smaller connector housing.

This converter plate is also used when mounting the DCDC-USB power supply. The plate secures one end of the power sup-ply board, while a two-part bracket assembly is used to secure the other end of the board. The bracket system supports the DCDC-USB power supply in a vertical orientation directly over the PCI slot of a Mini-ITX mainboard.for the P4 connection on the power supply board to be aligned with the rear opening on the chassis for direct access with anexterior power cable. The proper orientation of the power supply is with the mini USB plug facing the fans.

VI. InstallationMounting brackets are included with the enclosure. The brackets have both DIN-rail and quick bi-directional keyway slots for

the chassis for security purposes.

When mounting, maintain at least one inch of space for the front air inta ke on the chassis. The back side of the computer will

Dimensional information for mounting is as follows:

IV. Power Fitting OptionsThe MV101 is designed to support four basic power and signal inputs.
