WSTA is a professional organization dedicated to advocating and promoting quality science education for all, at all levels of instruction. Each year the state wide organization recognizes one elementary, middle and high school teacher for this honor. “Nurse Renee Bowzer is a person of complete integrity and high professional standards. She is the perfect combination of health care provider and educator. The Mount Vernon School District benefits from her knowledge and skills every day.” — Jean Champagne, MVSD Special & Support Services Director Renee Bowzer was selected as School Nurse of the Year by the School Nurse Organization of Washington (SNOW). Bowzer was honored at the Washington State School Nurse Conference in mid- October. She will travel to San Francisco in June to proudly represent Washington nurses at a national conference.
