Industrial revolution made the
lives of Europeans and North
Americans easier. Although it
helped a lot of people, it alsomade some people suffer. For
example, factory workers lost their
jobs since the machines can do the
hard things they originally did.
Itsgood that
industrial revolution
helped a lot of people,
but I feel bad for the
factory workers!
Metoo :( Everyone
should be able to
earn money!

THE EVENTSMany citizens protested which made the Parliament nervous. They
didnt want the protest to spread therefore they allowed the
middle-class men to vote.
1830 : The citizens started to protest
1832 : British passed the Reform Bill.
1867 : Gave voting rights to working-men.
Early1900 : All the demands from the Chartists
became law. (Except for the annual elections)
YAY

now! Im so
happy!
Me

believe we can
vote now!

THE ENDINGAt the end, 74% of the population were
able to vote. Woman over 30 were also
able to vote!
Its
amazing what the
citizens can do! I mean
before 1832, only 5% of
the population were
able to vote!
Yeah
