R50 Calculation for 60Hz condition:

In terms of time interval –

360° = 16.67ms

1° = (16.67 ÷ 360) ms

1° = 0.0463 ms (or 46.3μs)

∴ 20° = (46.3 × 20)μs = 926μs

Suppose Δt = 700μs,

Then, Degree = 700/46.3 = 15.12

R50 Calculation for 50Hz condition:

In terms of time interval –

360° = 20ms

1° = (20 ÷ 360) ms

1° = 0.0555 ms (or 55.5μs)

∴ 20° = (55.5 × 20)μs = 1111μs (or 1.11ms)

Suppose Δt = 700μs,

Then, Degree = 700/55.5 = 12.6
