MARTIN LUTHER KING AND HIS PRANKS

• When Martin was a little boy, he took piano lessons. One day, he and his brother and sister played a prank on their piano teacher. They loosened the legs on the piano bench and they made the teacher fall so they wouldn’t have to practice! Martin’s best prank was when he hid in the bushes and dangled a fur mink on a stick to scare people.

MARTIN WAS A REGULAR GUY

• This book was written by Martin’s sister to show that he was once a regular boy. He was funny. He was curious. He liked to play. He went on to be a world leader and made a difference in the world. A poem was written about him. It is called “You Can Be Like Martin.” This poem tells how we all have the potential to do great works like Martin Luther King, Jr.
