Our e-Diary is an HTML 5 Web Application. It is built with the technology to be able to run online and offline (when using Chrome or Safari). This will be handy for students who travel to school and have no access to internet at home or in transit.

Our 3 year roll-out strategy is below, please take this as a guide of how you could smoothly make the transition from Print Diaries to Electronic over the next few years without financial impact.

e-Diary Administrators Can make changes to the Settings & Content of the e-Diary. We suggest around 4 senior staff + Principal should be e-Diary Administrators.

General Staff Can assign non-deletable homework to students.

Feature 1: Assign Non-Deletable Homework to Students

You can ensure students DO write their homework in each day, by assigning it to them automatically. This then becomes a NON-DELETABLE entry into their diary.

Soon to be released is our Parent Interface, which allows Mum & Dad to log into My e-Diary to check what homework has been logged for their son or daughter and how much has been completed

Feature 3: Make Live Announcements to Staff & Students

Wouldn’t it be great to quickly remind students that Friday is Free Dress Day or remind Staff members a School Assembly is on tomorrow. My e-Diary provides a simple mechanism to communicate these messages. They then appear in all e-Diaries and need to be clicked to mark “read”.

Because a student diary is a tool used each day it’s a handier location than say email or school website to promote your message, as not all students may check these areas every day.

Inserting school events directly in all student e-Diaries is easy and you have the ability to change and edit them anytime.

3 Enter details for the event and click Save

The event appears on the e-Diary on the assigned day
