Also ensure that cake is baked with the “toothpick technique”.
I chose Babka because it is a dessert that I have enjoyed my whole life and it is not an ordinary food that you could buy at any store. I eat this cake every Sunday when I go to my great-grandma’s house and I thoroughly enjoy eating something that is from her Polish Heritage. I hope that you enjoy this dessert as well.
WHY BABKA?
There is no “real” translation for Babka but it is -- in a way -- a Polish Vanilla Cake.
