MY INSTRUMENT

My Milo phone

I named my instrument this because there is already a instrument called a xylophone but because mine is made out of a Milo tin.

Explanation of my Instrument

• My instrument is made out of a Milo tin. On the outside of my instrument there is beer bottle lids nailed on. When I bang this tin the bottle lids bang on the tin so that causes the sound.

Looks and sounds• I made the instrument look interesting with all

the beer bottle lids nailed on.• For my instrument I had one problem and that

was deciding how many beer bottles to put on the Milo tin. This was hard because I didn't want to put a couple on because you wouldn't have been able to hear them.

• My instrument makes a sound from the beer bottle lids, when they rattle against the tin it makes a noise. The part of my instrument that vibrates is the tin, this vibrates from the lids hitting it.

Family of instruments

My instrument would fit into the percussion family because it is a instrument that is like a drum.
