At Purdue, I start my day off on my computer and I never get off. Never in my life have I relied so heavily on my computer. From homework, to jobs, and games, everything is done in the convience of my 13 inch screen. I am currently learning everything about computers and I can see myself in them.

Coming to college meant going away from home. For the first time, I was on my own and making my own rules. I did what I wanted to do, and when I wanted to do it. Being on my own, and makin makin my own rules caused things to get crazy sometimes. This became my life away from my home 1000 miles away.

Sleeping my first night away from home, I am awakened by something stumbling into my room at 2 o’clock in the morning. To my surprise, it was my roomate coming to stay from China. I have never shared a room with someboshared a room with somebody who’s first language was not English. I knew I was in for a new experience.

Purdue has changed the course of my future. I had little idea of what I wanted to do with my life. Walking into the atrium of the Armstrong Building, I felt a whole new feeling. This was my home, and for some reason, I wanted to wanted to go to space.
