My Magazine Drafts

The masthead I chose for my magazine is ‘MIXER’ , this is to represent the target audiences mixed personalities and to show that this magazine is aimed at anybody interested in the RnB genre.

My main image will be a medium show of a female of the age range that the magazine is aimed at, she will be wearing a hoodie to represent young youth and to show that it’s a casual magazine.

This will attract the target audience and make the reader buy my magazine because these headphones are very popular for my target audience.

The huge poster will be of a male artist, this will attract the female audience as they will want posters of young good looking guys.

The exclusive interview will attract the readers attention as they will be interested in the artists personal life.

Masthead on contents page to keep the house style consistent.

The use of rule of thirds is to keep my contents page organised and to make it easier for the reader to see what is involved in the magazine.

The subscription will stand out on the contents page to attract the reader and will also offer the next issue of the magazine at a cheaper price, this attracts my target audience because they will be able to save some money.

I have chosen to place 3 images overlapping each other on the side with page number on them, this is to make it more interesting and funky, also the page numbers will tell the reader what is involved on those pages.

This image will be of an artist that is being interviewed for the magazine, it will take up a page therefore the reader will be able to use the image as a poster. The use of the brick wall behind is to show young youth and to represent RnB music as young, chilling and lively.

This side will be the interview which will be informal. It will attract the target audience as it will be a young artist who is famous in the RnB charts.
