Celebrate your runners’ marathon story
Getting across the finish line at the London marathon is definitely a cause for celebration.
That’s why we’ve created My Marathon – an app to help runners proudly show off their key marathon moments.
In this guide we will give you a quick tour and show you how you can use it to reach new supporters.
#mymarathon
How it works
• Runners visit http://mymarathon.justgiving.com
• They enter their finish time and JustGiving page URL.
• And click Submit.
How it works
A personal story board is created of their top five marathon moments on JustGiving, including their:
• amount raised per mile• average speed• number of supporters• super donations day• top sponsor
How it works
With just a couple of clicks they can share their marathon story on social media, and encourage their friends to make a congratulations donation.
Half of all Facebook users have over 200 friends*, so prompting people to share their marathon story will help your cause reach more people and raise more money.
