It is very nice to hear from you.  You are a very adventuresome person!  I admire your strength and spirit.  I have yet to see the northern lights and would hope to do so someday.  I left Anchorage in June to care for my mother in California.  I moved to the north shore of Kauai 3 weeks ago to work on an organic farm and goat dairy.  They make delicious goat cheese.  Have you tried it before?  My sister from Taipei will be visiting California during her kids' winter break.  I hope to visit Taiwan when her new home is completed next year. Safe travels to you and Happy New Year! Cheers ~ Cynthia

I bought a 1999 camper van (Roadtrek) and have been living in it and travelling the USA. I am now exploring Arizona and the southern parks of California.

Camping out in Alaska is possible but it will be so COLD!
