Fashion PortfolioTRANSCRIPT
I was born on 23rd February 1987 in Ancona, in the
North of Italy, where my parents had been working
for three years. Then we moved to Aversa, in the
South of Italy, and we have been living here since
then.
When I was a child I joined a scout group in my town
for eight years, we did a lot of excursions and social
activities which made me appreciate nature and be
aware of different social problems.
In the course of my school years I've been to Great
Britain twice, to attend summer language courses,
but also to know new people.
I really love traveling in order to discovered different
cultures and traditions, therefore I visited severals
European countries and America.
After primary education I attended the "Liceo Scienti-
fico", which corresponds more or less to Grammar
school. Then I followed my passion and I chose to
attend Fashion Industrial Design course at the
Second University of Naples. During these years I had
the opportunity to appreciate all forms of art and
work with some famous Neapolitan artists during
the preparation of my exams.
I visited a lot of exhibitions, not only for my studies
but above all for my personal interest on fashion,
design and arts in general.
After my degree I've been attending two courses at
"Scuola Partenopea della Moda". One is about
fashion Illustration, and the other is on pattern-
making and tailoring. In this way i've learnt how to
realize a model starting from the sketch.
Caseare Attolini is one of the most famous Neapolitan tailoring com-pany, which made craftsmanship his strength and it is an excellence of Italian country. For this reason I chose to carry out here my uni-versity training of four month. During this period I could realize how products born, from the begin-ning to the end, and also visiting the different company areas, such
