In our film, we have only two actors. Our protagonist is a female. To play her, we chose one of the drama students in our college called Esther. We chose her as we thought that it would be best to choose an actress who had a bit of experience in the drama industry, instead of just of using someone who doesn’t have experience at all.

Esther is 17 which is the same age as the main character in our production. This means that she would be able to relate more to the character and express herself the way a normal 16/17 year old would behave.

We believe that Esther can bring our character alive through acting as her, as she has a personality that can change depending on the situation. Giving her this role, we are confident that she would be able to put some of her personality into Alex. Esther is going to bring Alex to life visually and we are sure that she is the best for the role

Actors

Our second character in the film is a male and we have chosen to use Laolu, who is also from college. We thought that he would be correct to use for this specific role because he is easy going and would be able to act like the anonymous guy in our film. Laolu’s role would just require him to just be the person that Alex, our main character is running from and thinks is following her. His role doesn’t require him to speak but we would be capturing visual shots of him running, walking and doing other things through out the production.

Esther, who would be acting as the character of Alex. As you can see through some of the images, Esther is a fun person and can be silly at times but, when she is put in role, she takes her part seriously and can switch off her silly side and focus on the task given to her. Unfortunately, I want able to put up the pictures of the long shot, wide shots and other shots I took of her but I was able to still show through these pictures, an extreme close up, a close up, and two mid shots.

Laolu is as I said before, the anonymous guy in our production. Laolu is tall and his height will allow most of our shots to be effective and give off the vibe and mood that we are looking for in the film. With his height, especially in the train station when Alex notices the anonymous man in all black, it would add to the tension that would already be there as a tall man in black watching a teenage girl would be seen as worrying in most cases.

Actor release forms

For back up, just in case there happens to be a problem with one of our actors, leading them to be unable to be part of the film, we have two stand by actors who would be ready to step in at any point. For the character Alex, we have Ayo and for the anonymous man we have Karo. Ayo, unlike Esther isn’t experienced in acting but just through her personality I know, like Esther, she would be a great candidate for the role. Karo, like Ayo, doesn’t have any experience in the acting industry either but, as the role he would be acting will not require much acting skills, he would be great for the job. Also, his height, like Laolu’s would be a bonus for the role, adding to the mystery and anonymousness of the character.
