exciting new chapter in the ongoing collaboration between Rowe & Robin
Bruce and some of today’s most influential voices in design. My Rowe
Design features a hand-selected group of interior designers, challenging them to create a space that showcases their
favorite aspects of the thousands of custom fabrics and frame designs in the Rowe & Robin Bruce lines. From the ease of customization and diversity of fabrics
to the overall quality and versatility, each of them was inspired by the
process of working with Rowe. We can’t wait to introduce you to our My Rowe
Designers, and to give you a preview of their unique vision and style. We hope
this will inspire your own creativity!

Co-founded by married duo Anissa & Brian Zajac, House Seven Design + Build is an Indianapolis-based interior styling and remodeling com-pany. House Seven began as a small blog--named after the purchase of their seventh house--on which Anissa shared home design and DIY projects, which quickly gained a large following and launched her full-time design career. Anissa & Brian’s distinctive style, which they describe as “minimal, modern and rustic” has been featured on the Today Show, as well as Domino magazine, Apartment Therapy, Huffington Post, HGTV Magazine and more.

Anissa's StyleA monochromatic palette meets globally-inspired textiles in House Seven’s signature minimal, fresh style. “I wanted to create a moody, cozy and warm area in a large open space,” says the designer, who tends to gravitate towards white and black paired with warm wood tones. Dark wood meets light, airy upholstery in this space, while earthy neutrals--like a pair of Atticus Chairs in rich brown leather and twin Percy Ottomans in a sand-hued woven fabric--keep the look feeling warm and grounded. House Seven’s space is a relaxing oasis that invites visitors to sink into the nearest chair (we recommend the Lyra Chair, looking lovely in a bone white linen blend) and take comfort in this soothing global haven.
Why Anissa Loves RoweAnissa drew her inspiration for this space from the minimal, contemporary lines of the Ellice Sofa and Ellice Lounger, seen here looking just right in chalk white Kidproof and a striking black patterned fabric. “I love the frame style of Ellice and built my space around [the sofa and lounger],” says Anissa. “I loved the clean lines of the Ellice lounger, and the upholstery options were versatile and limitless.” Anissa paired Ellice with black & white accents in textured chenille and windowpane for a high-contrast look that commands attention!

Jessica Bennett is the owner/principal designer and Suzanne Hall is VP of design at Alice Lane Home, an award-winning interior design firm and showroom known for their fashionable, collected and curated style. From humble beginnings in 2008 as a small retail store with a handful of design clients, Alice Lane has grown exponentially to include a large team that has completed hundreds of residential and commercial design projects, all show-casing their signature playful use of pattern and color.

Jessica & Suzanne's StyleA sense of worldly luxury infused with a fair amount of wit permeates every Alice Lane space, and their My Rowe Design creation is no exception. A single piece—our Ivy Lane Queen Bed—formed the inspiration and foundation for this space. Jessica & Suzanne began by imagining the bold contours and channel tufting of Ivy Lane in a creamy, textured chenille, then dialed up the drama with accents of raisin purple, blush pink, charcoal, marble and antique brass. “We’ve always loved the horizontal channel [tufting],” say the designers. “It feels vintage, and we knew it’d be dramatic dressed in white in a dark room.” An emphasis on textured textiles—think luxurious wool, velvet and chenille—gives this
space a tactile quality that invites guests to sink deeply into an ecru-upholstered Channing Sofa and savor a few sweet moments.

Leyla Jaworski is the owner/creative director and Whitney Rose is the lead designer of Design Shop Interiors, a Sacramento-based design studio and showroom run by a hard-working team of ten. Leyla is laid-back and refreshing, a proudly self-educated designer with a penchant for jeans and sneakers, but also a consummate professional with a razor-sharp eye for design. Leyla and designer Whitney (Design Shop’s very first employee) teamed up to create a My Rowe Design look that represents their studio’s fresh, clean aesthetic. Design Shop Interiors consistently takes on an impressive roster of residential and commercial projects--from renovation and decoration to new builds and flips--all finished in their bright, modern & eclectic style.

Leyla & Whitney's StyleNatural materials abound in this space that’s equal parts chic downtown condo and outdoors-inspired bungalow. Our Bradford Slipcover Sofa makes a subtle statement in an ecru linen blend, while a pair of Robin Bruce Miles Ottomans in rich brown leather adds an earthy note. Upscale flourishes such as a bold graphic wallpaper and brass & marble accents contrast with natural hemp and jute accents in a glam boho style that’s anything but rustic. A selection of neutral textiles in wool, cotton and jute rounds out this space with a layer of elegant softness.
Why Leyla & Whitney Love RoweLeyla and Whitney’s choice of a pair of Rothko Swivels in an olive green slipcover is a combination that feels style-forward, family-friendly, and effortlessly cool. “We were really drawn to the green color,” say the designers. “Mixing that olive green with leather and other natural elements gave our space a kind of ‘safari’ feel.” Our sleek swivels pair perfectly with understated olive green, the “it” neutral of the moment, for a look that’s organic and modern.
