An American Crisis
PovertyAmerica’s biggest problem led to other issues
Not only do people suffer in this economy, horses suffer…
Over Population
A herd of wild horses out west in North America
Falling horse market
It all led to this…….
Neglect, starvation, cruelty, unwanted, and uncared for
Cruelty
Neglect
Neglect comes in all forms
What did we do to deserve this?
I was once your best friend, your companion, you used to ride me, and you used to love me.
No place to goIn this economy, horses are
not selling, you can barely give a horse away for FREE, and the increase in costs for grain and hay are skyrocketing. Under these conditions, many horses have no where to go, but to starve. Adoption agencies for horses are full, and most are not accepting any more horses.
What is better for the horses?
To starve or to be taken to a slaughter house?
QUESTION:
ANSWER
Slaughter houses provide food and care for a horse before they are slaughtered.
The process of slaughter is painless, in most cases horses do not know that they are even going to be slaughtered. The parts of the horse will be completely used and will be put to good use. This option provides a great way to save horses from starving and being neglected.
Help us help them
• Keep slaughter houses, they give the horses worth and value.
• Slaughter houses give a way out for injured, neglected, and starved horses that have no where to go.
• Stop over-breeding
• Choose adoption
