    My submission calls for a mix of around between 60:40 or 50:50

    CMCP - Centralised Master (Community) Plan

    Where subject land use (LADU) is performed under a strict perscription

    SLPD - Semi-Liberal Planned District

    Is where subject land use (LADU) is performed under more flexible

    operations than land use under a CMCP scheme.

    SLPD's are split into two subsections: 1) covering Brownfield LADU; 2)

    covering Greenfield LADU

    Note from the Minister of Local Government

    After further research and adaptation;The Minister of Local Govt. wrote to the Auckland Council stating(in the case of Housing affordability) he (the Minister) wantsAuckland to move away from a strict containment (LADU) modelto a more mixed (LADU) model.Further more The Minister wishes to see Council use zoningcontrols, innovative approaches to development levies and

    relaxation of containment strategies (that (can) cause furtherdeclines in housing affordability).

    he idea behind SLPDs came from an article from the macrobusiness.com.au site (Look to Texas to soustralian Housing Supply) and from Auckland Transport Blog: Taking a fresh look at planning regula

    Both articles represented two extremes of planning, and the idea behind the SLPD was to take

    the best of both words to realise the goal mentioned at the beginning of my submission
