I used the line tool to separate the main heading from the sub-heading.

I used the square tool to create many of the boxes on all of my pages, for example the box around the “E” of the masthead.

I used the text tool to make all the text throughout my magazine.

I used many different layers in my magazine which I could then merge together. For example I have put the cover image behind the masthead.

I used the Filters section to edit my photographs by editing the colour or changing the brightness or contrast.

I gave the images or text different effects by using the effects tool. It can add drop shadows, glows, bevels and blurs. I have mainly used drop shadows and outer glows.

I made my barcode by using a free barcode generator called http://www.terryburton.co.uk/barcodewriter/generator/

I downloaded the fonts used on my front cover using www.dafont.com, for example for the masthead I downloaded a font called Roadway.

I saved this font so I could use it later on in my project.

Using blogger we created an account and started to create posts to post all of our work so we can show the our

progression throughout the media course.
