My write up about ICT in Education

The rapid technological changes are undeniable so as future educator, we must consider 

on preparing our students on the opportunities that might not yet exist today but will beintroduced in the future. According to Intel website, an estimated of 80% of preschoolers today

will get a job that we neer heard before. It is indeed our responsibility to e!uip them on the

 possibilities of great adjustments learning and dierse set of technological tools and resources.

 "o doubt that globali#ation has a tremendous influence on education for it affects on how we see

things li$e the way we thin$, study and learn. It only means that we need to go beyond our 

expectations and proide an education which promotes the $nowledge attitudes and s$ills

releant to liing responsibly in a multicultural, interdependent world& '(isher ) *ic$s, +8-, p.

Teaching and learning with I/T ma$es heay use of the handsonmindson& approachwhich ma$es the learning an actie process. It increases the flexibility of deliery of education so

that learners can access $nowledge anytime and from anywhere. It can influence the way

students are taught and how they learn as now the processes are learner drien and not by

teachers. This in turn would better prepare the learners for lifelong learning as well as to improe

the !uality of learning. In this actiity, I hae obsere that there are many organi#ations and

online societies nowadays that are trying to implement technology in education and promoting

high !uality education most especially they are targeting to help on the third world countries.

They are trying to bridging gaps so that no one will be left behind and can adapt to the modern

world. 1uch efforts should be recogni#e and we should also ta$e a stand in contributing for the

deelopment of the education and we should start on our own land, our country, the 2hilippines.(or we $now how lac$ we are in terms of facilities and e!uipments needed in technology

integrated teaching. It was neer too late for our nation to progress in this field because we all

$now that we do hae potentials but we just don3t $now how to ma$e the best out of it.
