A perfect connection

You come home with your BMW i and connect it to the BMW i Wallbox Pro charging station. Instantly your car is re-charged and it is possible to activate several scenarios, e.g. the turning on of the coffee machine and in the background you can hear your favourite music. Furthermore, myGEKKO Slide & Drive facilitates the energy-efficient use of household appliances.

You can increase the output of the photovoltaic system by using the energy produced directly for the car charging process. As an extension to the weather forecast, you can

also display a forecast of probable energy production for the coming days. This way, charging will be even more cost-effective and efficient.

In addition to intelligent and efficient charging management, you can connect electrical devices using radio-controlled sockets. myGEKKO acts as device manager. It organizes and distributes the available energy and capacities and assures a trouble-free, efficient and cost-effective opera-tion of charging station and household appliances (washing machine, dryer, etc.).

myGEKKO Slide & Drive has been developed in collaboration with BMW eMobility in order to make customers’ everyday life even more comfortable and energy-efficient.

myGEKKO Slide & Drive is delivered as a standard device and includes a table holder adapted to the BMW design. Your personal assistant is thus always handy and can recall the required data at any time.

The white glass surface of the myGEKKO Slide emphasizes its timelessness and longevity. 9 quick operation keys, which can be assigned to customized functions, are hidden

beneath the white glass front. Colour and luminosity can be user-defined.

The display and access keys are equipped with capaci-tive touch technology to make operation more intuitive and easier. Quick access to the video camera or displaying energy values is possible with a single touch.

By connecting the BMW i Wallbox Pro to your myGEKKO, several charging management functions are integrated in the house and linked with the installed systems. This allows you to exploit synergies and optimize the use of existing resources.

You can use the myGEKKO Slide to monitor and control charging management and the charge status, integrate functions of the BMW i Wallbox Pro in actions and timers, and display the energy report and energy balance of the car.

Some additional information such as “How much energy do I currently need in the house” or “What is the forecast energy production for the next days” make charging management and energy management even more efficient and predictable.

Thanks to the direct communication between the BMW i Wallbox Pro and the myGEKKO you can also use additional functions on the BMW i Wallbox Pro, e.g. it is possible to activate the device turn-on/off directly on the BMW i Wallbox Pro or by connecting and disconnecting the charging cable.

The weather forecast can also be accessed directly with the BMW i Wallbox Pro. This way, you can collect information about the weather or current temperatures just before you get into the car and check the forecast energy production for the next days as soon as you return home.

Different devices in the house (e.g. washing machine, floor lamp, standby devices) can be connected to myGEKKO via 2 radio-controlled sockets with integrated energy metering.

The radio-controlled components are based on enocean radio technology which is emission- and batteryfree.

Interface with BMW i Wallbox Pro

myGEKKO Plus Services for a year

The myGEKKO Plus Services offer you additional features and possibilities. The quick and safe connection to the myGEKKO WebApp for the remote control of the myGEKKO device and several services such as weather data and forecasts, e-mail despatch and live support are available for one year.

With myGEKKO Live Support, you can activate a temporary remote access for a technician or for myGEKKO Support. This way, if you have questions or if you need to optimize the settings, the technician can access the system directly and provide targeted help. All this without spending exessive time or arranging complex appointments.

All services are AES encrypted and thus offer a high level of security.

Product requirements

The myGEKKO Slide is connected to the 230V electricity supply via a power supply unit and to the internet via WLAN. The connected components are already preconfigured and ready for use. All components can be customized and adapted to the needs of the customer.

Can I install myGEKKO Slide & Drive myself?myGEKKO Slide & Drive is preconfigured. Configuration settings and commissioning can be carried out directly via the display. In addition you can customize and adapt the user interface.

Can myGEKKO Slide & Drive be expanded in the future?myGEKKO Slide & Drive can be adapted to your wishes and needs and also expanded and upgraded with new functions. You will thus always be up to date in future. Software updates are available on USB stick and are free of charge.
