Product Description:

In any building projects smooth level floors are of utmost

important. Soloplan-30 is a premixed self leveling

compound in a powder form comprising of specially

selected binders, well graded sand and synthetic polymers

plasticizing agents and other ingredients, requiring only

addition of water at the job site. Soloplan-30 produces

highly efficient under lament with self leveling and self

finishing properties. High fluidity, good bond and low

shrinkage ensure ease of application. By application of

Soloplan-30 depressions, seams and surface defects are

instantly eliminated after application.

Areas of Application:

As underlayment for carpets, vinyl flooring, tiles etc, were

leveling out the uneven horizontal surface of concrete and

screeds, repairing and patching of screeds, concrete and

cementitious surfaces. Soloplan-30 is used for smoothening

and leveling in layers.

Surface Preparation:

The surface to be leveled must comply with the principles of

building construction and should fulfill the structural

requirements. Any crack, pot holes joints etc should be

properly sealed and cured. The surface to be treated

should be free from all coatings dust and unsound

concrete toppings and surface homogeneous mix, the

properly mixed compound should be poured on to the

surface and leveled by using of squeegees or broad

brushes For layers less than or the same as 20 mm thick,

concrete and cement screeds are to be primed with

ASO-Universal Primer-GE, SOLOPAN-30 is applied as soon as

the primer has dried. We recommend to allow the primer

coat to completely dry out(approx. 6 - 12 hours) as the

absorption capacityof the surface is minimised and the flow

behavior of SOLOPAN-30 is maintained. For layers 20 mm

recommend 5.0 - 5.4 L of water to 25 kg of SOLOPLAN-30.

For layers of 20 mm and higher, we recommend 4.7 - 5.1 L of

water to 25 kg of SOLOPLAN-30.

With a minimum addition of water ie: less excess water in

the mixture allows a quicker surface maturity to be

achieved.

Add Soloplan 30 to the water not vice versa and mix

vigorously to achieve homogenious mix. For self-leveling

and approximately 4.7 to 5.5 Lts of water per 25Kgs sack.

Amount of water can be adjusted to get the consistency in

plastic, fluid or trowel able grades. Placing of Soloplan-30

should be done in one continuous operation. For

underlayment over 10mm extend the mix by adding dry,

clear and well graded sand. For self leveling compound

add approximately 5 to 5.5 Lts of water for 25 Kgs of

Soloplan-30. The amount of water can be adjusted

thick or higher, smooth worn surfaces have to be primed

with ASODUR-GBM and sprinkled with excessive amounts of

Quartz sand (grain size 0.5 -1.0 mm). Prior to the application

of SOLOPLAN-30, and after complete hardening (approx.

16 hrs), the surplus quartz sand can then be removed.
