New Orleans’ most unique venue for any event Take a classic Street Car ride into the golden age of New Orleans to the front steps of Mystère. It is an architecturally stunning manor located in Mid-City less than 3 miles from the enchanting French Quarter on world famous Canal Street. This magnificent home was originally built in 1872 and has a neo-classical revival style exterior with an eclectic Victorian interior. Mystère is Southern Hospitality at its finest. The history, the architectural elegance, its spirit and warmth are all what one will experience when you walk thru our doors. Amenities abound throughout the mansion. Imagination has no limits. These features provide all the ingredients for fabulous celebrations!



Mystère Mansion is the most unique venue for special events for all group sizes and occasions. From a complete catered dinner and attentive butler service by reservation, to meetings, conventions and celebrations to creatively planned themed events and parties. Whether you choose a particular room, an entire floor or the full building, your event will be memorable and certain to create a long-standing favorable impression. Consider Mystère to create an amazing event for your group and occasion. Mystère will welcome all guests thru the main entrance in the Lobby where they will get their first taste of this historic home. The Grand Staircase will lead them to the top floor or simply look forward into the expanse of this elegant mansion. Forward and to the left, we will open the Grand Parlor and Great Hall areas completely for your guests. In the Canal Street side of the Grand Parlor, we can provide a riser for a band to play on. Since the building has hidden speakers throughout, we can play the band and announcements throughout the property tying all areas together. In addition, there are video screens throughout the property that can also be utilized to show company logos, messages, or live cameras images for guests to see. In front of the riser, we can provide a large dance floor with lighting for those who want to kick off their shoes and dance the night away. Across in the Great Hall is a custom hand built vintage wooden bar. This 30 foot bar can service many guests and is ready to go with a full array of premium traditional cocktails. Additional bars can be located upstairs in the Red Theatre and outside in the Courtyard. High top tables can be available for distribution wherever you wish throughout the property for your guests.

New Orleans cuisine is a must at an event such as this. We’ll celebrate the varied ethnic groups who contributed to our multi-cultural Cajun-Creole cuisine. Pigeon Caterers is our partner for providing the very best food for our clients. Pigeon is a family owned full service catering company, that has successfully operated throughout the Greater New Orleans area and surrounding parishes for more than a decade. One of a kind chef executed menus are prepared using only the freshest ingredients. In addition to providing you with culinary delights, our design consultants will assist you in making sure your table presentations compliment your menu. From greenery and tablescapes to dramatic linens, we will work to provide your guests with an experience that is as appealing visually as it is in taste. Our expertly trained wait staff and bartenders are formally



dressed and are willing to assist your every need to create a truly special "Special Event" that will exceed your expectations. Upstairs in the Red Theatre, we can set up a series of tables and red banquet chairs for your guests to relax in either cocktail style or theater seating style. On one end, we can set up one of the numerous banquet stations and a bar. There is a small stage area in the Red Theatre that you can utilize for a presentation or a second form of entertainment. This could be a burlesque show, jazz band, DJ… the sky’s the limit! We are flexible and creative.

Outside in the Courtyard, sit and relax in our lush New Orleans style patio. Two huge outdoor travertine fireplaces flank the sides of the Courtyard creating a truly enchanting atmosphere you won’t soon forget.

Special Themed Parties - Along with our traditional Mansion venue rentals, we also specialize in themed parties and events that can include our simulated Séance Experience and our Haunted Fear Exhibit throughout the Basement. Call for details and rates.

In addition to the management and staff that will cater to your every need, we offer themed characters to fit your

event. For example, in a Haunted Mansion themed event, vintage ghostly characters can interact and entertain

your guests. Our ghost host, Lord Ravencroft in

full costume (tall top hat and cane) can lead your

guests in a saucy back and forth banter as he

introduces himself and the property to your

guests and serves as your Master of Ceremonies.

The Séance Chamber can also be available for

simulation experiences, but are limited to 13

guests every 6 minutes. Where else can you take

your group to be enchanted and amazed-even

transported to another era, to a place where the

impossible could appear before your very eyes?
