The Myst System PAN64 planar loudspeaker will playback audio information in a controlled pattern. It uses a series of transducers that offer outstanding response in the high frequencies and low distortion in the midrange. This will generate a sound clarity that will catch anybody’s attention, even in the noisiest situations. Because this device generates a planar wave, the sound pressure attenuation over distance is low compared to a conventional point source loudspeaker. The level drop is around 3dB at 10 meters. The Myst Systems B17 mini-amplifier has been especially designed for the PAN64 to perform its best. Thanks to its built-in EQ curve, the system’s tonal balance will maximise sound clarity and speech intellegibility. Its separate power supply is a switch mode type and will operate with most mains voltages. Applications: Museums Point of sale Art installations Localised sound effects Videoconferencing Intercom system in noisy environments Dimensions: 640 x 640 x 80mm Weight: 4Kg Frequency response: 380Hz-14KHz +/-5dB, Max SPL : 94dB 1Khz @ 4m Controlled directivity loudspeaker Planar wave radiation offers low attenuation over distance Outboard amplifier and power supply included Low profile magnetic surface/ceiling mount system Available in black or white. MEASUREMENTS

Waterfall plots energy and time Polar plots 200Hz, 400Hz, 800Hz

Isobar plots Polar plots 1KHz, 2KHz, 4KHz

Polar plots 8KHz, 10KHz, 20KHz

The system offers a symmetrical dispersion sohorizontal and vertical diagrams are identical. All measurements are done 1.5m away fromthe sound source.
