One of the most told legends in Britain’s history is
probably the one of Robin Hood. It

1. Put the verbs in part 1 of the text into simple
past.
2. Part 2 of the Story of Robin Hood is full of
relative clauses. Complete the text by using
who, that or which.
3. Read the story of brave Robin Hood and
his Merry Men after. Do you think it's ok to
rob the rich and give to the poor? Write
down why or why not by using the
subordinate clause of reason, time and
comparison.

Myths, legends and stories
Myths and legends are stories about people from history. Usually, they aren’t completely true. Sometimes, the writer
changes some events a bit to make them more interesting, exciting or to convey a message for what's right or
wrong. Legends are full of colourful characters such as warm-hearted kings, evil queens, brave knights and magical
characters like wizards.
