Theparthasbeenidentifiedashav1n8comefromaCessna182 aircraftbetweenacertainrangeofserialrrumbers.Thepartisanengine cowlflap,forcontrolofairflowewertheengine.It is300cmtlongby 210mmwide,and40mmatits deepestpOint.It hadtwosidepanelswhenfirst found.ThepiecewasonCIIwhite(acrylicpaint).andismadeofaluminium composition.nowgreatlyeroded.Theoperatingbolt.ofsteel,whileheavily co=oded.appearetohavefailedonimpactorinflight(i.e.notbyco=osion).
