BRIEF REPORT OF NAAC PEER TEAM VISIT

A National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Peer Team Visited to Government

College Dhaliara , during 29th

and 30th

March, 2019.

An intensive scrutiny of the resources teaching, learning, research and extinction and progress

made by Government College Dhaliara during the last five years was made by the teaching, non-

teaching and the NAAC Peer Team.

The team comprising Prof. Mohd. Iqbal Ali, Prof. Atulgiri Gonsai and Dr. Mohammad Khalil

Ahmad visited the college in connection with assessment and re-accreditation. On First day at

9:00am Principal, IQAC Coordinator, teaching, Non-teaching staff and students welcome the

team.

Dr. Sultan Jaswal, Coordinator of NAAC Steering committee introduced the principal and member of committee.

The team had the presentation about the college by In-Charge Principal Prof. Madhu Sharma. The meeting was held

with all Head of Departments in Conference hall of College where HoD presented their departmental PPT’s. The

Team also verified the data and departmental files during the presentations. The team besides visited various

departments, Laboratories, Computer Laboratory, various classrooms of the college took stock of different student

support services and facilities.

The meeting held with Heads of Examination, NSS, NCC, Bharat Scout and Guide, and Student

Development. The team had the interactions with Board of Management / Govt. Representative/

College Representative with lunch in Seminar Hall of the college.

The Team also visited and verified the facilities of Sports, Gymnasiums, playground, library and

canteen etc. The team had separate interactions with the students, alumni and parents.


The two day visit of The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Peer Team

Visit was concluded with an exit meeting held in the Multipurpose Hall of College on Saturday

30th

March 2019 at.5.00 pm.

During welcome address by Principal Prof. Madhu Sharma


The welcome address for the exit meeting presented by the by In-Charge Principal Prof. Madhu

Sharma, who highlighted the role that the college has been playing in shaping the destiny of rural

masses through appropriate education, to empower the socially, economically and educationally

marginalized sections of the rural society of the region and to augment a new generation of

students for contributing to the future knowledge economy. He welcomed the gathering thanked

the team for the valuable suggestions of the Peer Team and said they would be taken into

account; and he earnestly hoped that everyone in the College would strive for taking the

institution to greater heights by their dedicated work.

Speaking on the occasion of the Exit Meeting, Prof. Mohd. Iqbal Ali, Chairperson of the team,

shared his observations with the staff and students. He also highlighted the efforts that NAAC

makes in raising the benchmarks of quality in the institution of higher education in the country.

Earlier chairman presented the report of re-accreditation to the principal and Co-ordinator of the

college.

He said the visits of the NAAC Peer Teams often provoke us to do SWOC analysis of our

institutions and consequently helps us to march towards excellence. The vote of thanks was

proposed by Dr Sultan Jaswal, Coordinator NAAC steering committee, who appreciated the role

that was played by different stake holders in the successful completion of this academic activity.
