This spring art educators throughout the United States convened for the biennial conventions of NAEA's
Eastern, Pacific, Southeastern and Western Regionals. This issue of Art Education features a representative
sampling of the general session addresses delivered at these meetings. The editors wish to thank all
those who cooperated in making their papers available for publication, and regret that space did not permit
the inclusion of all the important statements that highlighted the four NAEA 1966 Regional Conventions.
