Adam  Tart  Adam  completed  a  Master’s  in  Mobile  Networking  and  Compu(ng  in  2009.    According  to  Tart  “The  Computer  Science  Department  in  UCC  is  a  hot-­‐bed  of  talent.    My  professors  were  some  of  the  best  in  their  fields;  the  material  was  interes(ng,  s(mula(ng  and  challenging;  and  my  classmates  were  serious  and  passionate.  I  am  posi(ve  that  my  top-­‐notch  educa(on  in  UCC  absolutely  secured  my  current  posi(on  in  Google.”

Arthur  Chan  “As  anyone  who  has  talked  to  me  about  Cork  knows,  one  of  my  favourite  parts  

of  the  city  is  the  English  Market”  

Arthur  completed  a  master’s  in  Contemporary  Migra(on  and  Diaspora    Studies  at  UCC  in  2008  and  his  thesis  was  an  ethnography  of  Dublin  city’s  Chinese  migrant  entrepreneurs.  Since  leaving  UCC  Arthur  shot  a  documentary  short  in  Cambodia  and  is  assistant-­‐producing  on  his  first  off-­‐Broadway  play  in  New  York.

“During  my  Mitchell  year,  I  was  exposed  to  the  independent  film  industry  in  Europe  -­‐  and  I  haven't  looked  back.  Off  a  contact  I  made  in  Cork,  I  began  working  as  a  film  producer  in  London,  so  I  think  I  owe  my  career  to  that  

year  in  Ireland!”Winnie  Li  

Winifred  completed  a  postgraduate  degree  in  Cel(c  Studies  in  2001.  She  is  now  a  successful  film  producer.
